NON-DISCLOSURE AND LIMITED LICENSE TERMS (Transcript Access — Supplemental Material) These terms govern access to the digital transcript and any related supplemental materials (collectively, the “Transcript”) made available through this site in connection with the physical book purchased by you (the “Book”). 1. Nature of the Transcript. The Transcript is provided solely as illustrative supplemental material for personal reference by the purchaser of the Book. It is not a substitute for the Book, does not expand your rights in the Book’s content, and is offered only to assist your private study and understanding. 2. License grant. Subject to your successful verification of Book ownership and your acceptance of these terms, the publisher grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and view the Transcript for your personal, non-commercial reference only, for the access period indicated at unlock (or until earlier termination). 3. No duplication or distribution. You shall not copy, reproduce, download for redistribution, screenshot for sharing, photograph, scan, print for others, transmit, publish, post, upload, stream to third parties, sell, rent, sublicense, or otherwise distribute the Transcript—or any substantial portion of it—in any form or by any means, electronic or otherwise. Distribution of any kind is not permitted. 4. Confidentiality. You agree to treat the Transcript as confidential licensed material provided for your sole use. You will take reasonable care to prevent unauthorized access (including sharing of login sessions, access links, or unlocked browsers). 5. Ownership. All right, title, and interest in and to the Transcript, including copyright and other intellectual property rights, remain with the publisher and/or its licensors. No ownership is transferred to you. The Book purchase does not itself authorize redistribution of the Transcript. 6. Attribution and monitoring. Access may be personalized (including your name, email, license identifier, and timestamps) and may include visible or technical marks to identify the licensed copy. You acknowledge that unauthorized sharing may be investigated and may result in termination of access and legal remedies. 7. Privacy of contact information. The name and email address you provide are collected solely to issue and enforce a personal license, watermark the Transcript for the legitimate purchaser, provide support related to access, and limit access to legitimate purchasers of the Book. Contact information WILL NEVER BE SOLD OR SHARED with third parties for marketing or any other commercial purpose. It is used strictly in an attempt to limit access to legitimate purchasers of the Book and to administer this license. 8. Termination. Access ends when your authorized period expires, when you clear access on a device, or immediately if you breach these terms. Upon termination you must cease use of the Transcript. 9. Disclaimer. THE TRANSCRIPT IS PROVIDED “AS IS” FOR REFERENCE ONLY, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. 10. Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the publisher shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from access to or use of the Transcript. 11. Governing terms. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect. These terms are the complete agreement regarding Transcript access and may be updated; the version accepted at unlock applies to that access grant. By providing your name and email, checking the acceptance box, and completing ownership verification, you acknowledge that you are the purchaser (or authorized user of a purchased copy) of the Book, that you have read these terms, and that you agree to be bound by them.
